Private autism diagnosis

Hi I'm wondering where to go from here, daughter is in year 6 and I've long suspected that she's not meeting her developmental milestones as she should. School called me in and said she had suspected ADHD.

The wait on the NHS list in my area is 12 months minimum so I got the money together to go private. As I want any needs she has sorted before se goes to senior school.

The adhd report has come Back and she doesn't have it. but has all the markers for Asd. she goes on to secondary education in September and I'm now panicking about having things in place so she can cope and manage.

I can't wait on the NHS as the wait is 15 months for an asd diagnosis and she will be a couple of years into senior school then. Does anyone know where I can access a diagnosis privately. I'm not well off but if she needs it I will find the money , ie no holiday for the next couple of years .

Panicking now as I feel like I've failed her, always know she was a bit different. But as she's my only child I thought she just had different ways..

Can't help feeling devastated that if she has it she's gone all this time without help and support.

Try Caudwell Children, depending on your income you might get it partly funded, it's also a quick assessment process and you get support for 12 months following assessment.
