13 month old SCREAMING at bedtime?!

After some advice please:

My little girl is 13 months old, and has suddently started screaming at bedtime. She really, really works herself up - hysterical crying, rolling around and making her body go stiff so we can't dress her etc. Prior to this we could just pop her in her cot and she would chill before falling asleep with no issue.

Once she is asleep she tends to stay asleep, but this feels like it has come out of nowhere and can get quite distressing for us all. She has been at nursery for four weeks now, and I know she isn't napping as well there as she does at home - but she is generally happy when I pick her up and the staff always comment on what a lovely day she has had.

I am being really consistent with her bedtime routine, which has been the same since she was about 4/5 months old. Does anyone have an idea as to why this may be happening/in the same boat?

Thank you x

If she's not napping as well at nursery as she'd normally do, could she be overtired?
My DS is 15 months and only naps for 90 mins at nursery but at home he'd sleep for 120 mins so we move his bedtime forward a bit on nursery days to help make up the difference.

Could well be - I've tried putting her down super early this evening, and no crying yet 🤞

We are in that awkward transition stage of two naps to one as well - which probably isn't helping!

How was she last night?
