When to take away the bottle?

My son is 15 months and still gets 1 bottle at nap time and 1 at bed time. He is a great sleeper now, has about 2 hours during the day and sleeps through most nights. At times when I've tried to get him to sleep by singing, patting etc it doesn't work, bottle seems to be the only way I can get him down. Just wondering what people's thoughts are... is this perfectly normal or something I should start trying to phase out?

It's probably something to start phasing out as milk from a bottle isn't great for teeth. I think we switched from milk in a bottle to milk in a straw cup at about a year and then slowly phased that to water from a cup. I also thought my daughter wouldn't sleep without the bottle but it was nowhere near as difficult as I thought it would be.
