BATHTIME HELP NEEDED

DD2 has decided she hates bathtime all of a sudden. Used to love it. It starts at teatime when she says she wants her pyjamas on. As the others get ready for bath she starts crying and working herself into a frenzy and wants cuddles and to get ready for bed. She won't get in the bath either with her sisters or on her own. We've tried ignoring, rewarding, praising, bribery, telling off, cuddling, reassuring, distracting, activities etc... etc... No idea what to try next. She'll have a shower sometimes if offered, but I don't want to make this a habit else she'll never get in the bath again. I'm at my wits end as it's upsetting the other 2 and it's so demanding and wearing. Any advice gratefully received!

i think its a phase my ds 2.7 loved to have a splash but now he doesnt want to go in i only have to run taps on bath to wash my hands and his in a state

i just give him the option bath or strip wash but do once a week make sure he goes in even if its only long enough to wash down

i found before bed he really didnt like them but in the day i could normally get him in

so no advise i'm afraid as in same situation but dont force her in as she will get real phobia of bath

I don't know if with several its a practicality, but I agree that earlier in the day, even first thing in the morning can be a good time. My DS is always more mellow and amenable in the mornings generally so I swapped his bath time to fit his moods as he was getting agitated in the evenings if given a bath.
