So my daughter has always been a fab sleeper… until recently.
since October she started nursery after being with a childminder for 1 year, they do not nap at nursery.
she still occasionally has a lunch time nap as she is always so tired.
the last couple of weeks have been hell! She will full stop not go to sleep, she is in a cot bed still with the sides up and all she does is scream, this seems to happen on days she has a nap and also on days when she doesn’t have a nap!
it can be till midnight till she goes to sleep and by that time we are all exhausted!!
she says she wants us, don’t leave me. But seems to be fine on her own. On most nights where we have had this problem my other half has slept in the floor in her bedroom as that’s the only way we’ve managed to get round this.
ANY IDEAS? From a very tired desperate parent!
we have tried the kissing game which only worked one night, we limit TV anyway and have not changed her bed time routine.
