My dd is 2 nearly 3, we've suspected she may have autism due to behaviours and different things she's does, health visitors have agreed and she is going to be tested..... the last 4 days she has become obsessed with the letterbox on the front door now our door is directly in the lounge so it's there for her to see everytime a car passes she's there having a look etc and since the obsession with the letterbox she now freaks when having to change nappy or get dressed in fact everything she says no no and runs off..... I got her ready for bed upstairs last night and she was completely different so I'm assuming it's something to do with the letter box/lounge.... I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for getting her to get dressed change nappy etc..... yday she was running around with a very dirty nappy for 2 hours as she just would not let me change her and we tried everything!!!!
And yes I have considered it's whether she wants to not wear nappies anymore but we tried the potty and she just freaks and gets off so stopped for a bit.
