Good morning,
New baby is only 9 days old, our two year old has not taken well to being a big sister.
She is having major tantrums at everything, I completely get that this is part of the transition period but I spend 80% of my day with a screeching toddler.
She will go to bed but wakes at 12-3 with a huge tantrum, issue with this is we are in a flat and I feel awful for the other neighbours. Inevitably I give in and she ends up in our bed where we all have a disturbed night. I can't cope, I've tried the gentle approach and acknowledging feelings. My partner is no help as he gets frustrated and will shut down when she is having a meltdown.
Please anyone with experience tell me how to help her?
