Hi, mums I'm just coming on here to see if anybody's babies was a really late Walker, because my son is 21 months tomorrow and is still not walking about I feel like if I hear other peoples stories it will start to put my mind at ease because I feel like he is never going to walk x

My friend’s son walked at almost 2 and he is absolutely fine.

I think that the NHS recommend getting them checked out if they're not walking by 18 months.

I'd call the HV and ask her to have a look at him and I'd fill in the Ages & Stages for 20 months and ask her to score it.

He might just need some physio Wink

Hello, hope you and the little one are alright. I am worried about the same thing now, and just wanted to check how is the little one doing now ?

My DS finally walked at 22 months. He's just over 2 years old now. We saw a podiatrist from around 18-20 months of age (via HV referral as he was tiptoeing and I was worried about that). Podiatrist seems to have no concerns, he will see him again in a few months just to make sure he's progressing well along 'his' development timeline (i.e. he was a late crawler, so timeline starts from then). He checked feet, legs, etc and said no issues and said that some kids just take longer. If we hadn't seen podiatrist I wouldn't have that peace of mind though.
