Baby dragging his foot

I have a 14 month old baby boy, he isn't walking independently yet but has been crawling for a good few months and is cruising round the furniture no problem at all. When we hold his hand to encourage him to walk he can do it but he is dragging his left foot along, as if he can't really lift it! Occasionally he will lift it but then he'll drag it again! Does anyone have any experience of this with their little ones?

that's a bad sign. Tell your pediatrician this and search for baby therapist who can help him. Not sure what procedure should be, since I'm not in UK, but you should raise your concern with baby doctor.

I do agree that this needs checking out, even if he just needs a bit of Physio.

I'd call the GP in the morning and take a film of him dragging his foot.

We had this. We went to baby physio had a boot he had to wear. Walked normally 4 month later. They're still perplexed why.
