11 month old won't stop biting us

Hi,
I hope someone can give some advice! My 11 month old son won't stop biting us (me and my husband and sometimes others too!). My legs and arms are literally bruised as he bites me non stop! It's so difficult as I don't want to shout but sometimes my initial reaction is a little loud as it hurts! I have no idea have to tell him to stop. We try to gently pull him and way and say "stop" but that doesn't help. It seems to be getting worse. We are desperate for some help as are also very anxious he's starting nursery soon and may do this to the other kids or staff.
Thank you

My DD went through a phase of doing this and whilst I understand you not wanting to shout, she only did stop when my DF gave her a stern telling off.

She'd only seen him be utterly adoring before so I think the shock made her think.

This article might be useful from Dr Sears.

How is LO generally? Is he meeting his milestones? Is his speech & understanding on track?

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto hello, thank you. His milestones are fine so far. He's had all his checkups and there is no cause for concern. Even if my husband has firmly said to him no biting, it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's really stressful atm as yesterday he bit me so bad.

I'm so glad that he's meeting his miles stones and so sorry that being firm hasn't worked. Were the links of any use? Wink
