What to do with my daughter??

My dd turns 3 on the 4th January next year. She's currently being assessed for autism/adhd/learning difficulties (it's still a little early to tell but she's very behind on her development and has lots of stims so has just started the assessment process). My health visitor asked if I want to put her in school nursery when she turns 3. She currently goes to a private nursery every Wednesday for the full day and loves it, they're fab with her.
I was thinking of delaying her starting school nursery till April next year as I just don't feel like she'll be ready for a school setting in January - only says 4 words currently and potty training isn't even on our radar. I know schools are trained to deal with the meltdowns (she turns violent when the meltdown goes nuclear) but I can't help but feel anxious for my little munchkin as it'll be such a big change!
DH thinks she should go into school, I want to keep her at nursery. We need to decide soon so we can potentially apply for her place.
Any advice please, anyone been in the same situation?

Did you try googling whether or not schools you plan to apply have a website and whether or not they have contact information for you to ask? Maybe it would be better if you found out what she'll be learning in school, whether or not she would have special curriculum or will she have trained aide to help her with learning

Hello @Mummypig16 I would really recommend asking in the SN Children Section.

There a lot to consider, like getting an ECHP and whether a more specialist Nursery or School is available.
