Hello,
I currently care for my baby cousin (18 months). We have noticed that sometimes she stops what she is doing and her hands turn into a c- shape, similar to a crabs pincers, and opens her mouth wide and her hands go slightly stiff. It does not last very long, only a couple of seconds, but we have noticed she has been doing this everyday. Could this possibly be absence seizures? She doesn’t roll her eyes back or anything so not sure.
I am keeping a log of when she does this, just incase we need to speak to a doctor but not sure if this is something to worry about?
