Hi everyone my son is it quite there with his speech but he had ways of letting me know he had done a poo be it crying or coming ip to me and I'd smell it I don't know I would just know if that makes sense but recently he hasn't been letting me know and he's starting to get sore where I haven't noticed straight away is this normal behaviour should I be worried tia

Sometimes they stop telling you when they're getting ready to potty train. Is that something that you're considering doing?

Metanium is good for the nappy rash he's experiencing right now

I have been trying to potty train with him sitting him on the potty at certain points of the day but it’s tricky as he doesn’t really talk I’ve been using metanium it’s like a Morocco cream have you got any pointers on potty training I could use this is my first child so I’ve never done it before and I’m finding it very difficult as he can’t tell me if he needs to go

I don't think he necessarily needs to be saying "Mother Dearest, I could do with using the Lavatory" but you're right, some way of communicating he needs to go sounds good

How about trying a sign for potty?

As for tips, I waited till the weather was warm and went into the garden with a potty. There's probably some better tips in this book
