How much does your just turned 2 year old say?

Mine can put maybe three words together but rarely does it. Also says lots of single words but seems to use easy words rather than expanding on them rather than turning them into sentences. All of my friends kids are saying loads more. Mines speech is the worst out of them all and I'm feeling awful and avoiding meeting up with people because I'm feeling bad for him.

Our DS is now 2.5 years old and has a significant language delay, they d only refer at 2 in most areas if they were barely/ entirely non verbal at that point and then 2.5 years old they d refer for less than 50 words and hadn't tried putting two words together. It sounds like your son isnt showing anything overly concerning with speech yet for his age so you could see how he's doing in six months or so then go from there.
