have had a really good few days with DS1!!

He still has had the odd strop and things but have been handled absolutely fine and he seems okay at the moment.

That's lovely.

No secret.

Had a meeting with the SENCO and she didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. DH said it was down to us and we had to start afresh. Had had a couple of really bad days with DS2 doing scary things and I really dodn't want to go back there. No shouting, saying yes as much as possible but if no giving a compromise, staying calm and giving him more one to one time where possible (3 kids, 1 Mum,)

Well done you.
we'd had a good few weeks - until earlier when DD2 had the most enormous paddy - for no reason at all. i was sat at the top of the stairs - trying to stop her throwing herself down - saying to DH -what did we do? in a rather bemused way - we'd had a lovely day. no strange food. no special nos nothing. and off she went.
havew been following your tales as your DS seems similar in many ways to my DD. (oh I used to be BeeEm if that rings a bell or not?)
And now she's back to her fairly normal self. no mention of the huge nasty tantrum.
i mean why, why, why?
your plan seems a good one - try to compromise and not say no unless absolutely necessary.
again well done you
apologise for ramble there - am a bit sloshed.
