3yo doesn't stop moving!

Is it normal for a 3 1/2 yo to always be fidgeting? I'm sure I'm probably just worrying over nothing but sometimes I wonder why he just can't sit still! Meal times hell eat fine but usually always moving around in his chair, sitting on his knees/perching on his booster seat. He'll watch a film but is always moving him arms/legs/feet or getting yo to stand in front of the tv so I have to always ask him to move away and sit down. He's fine at bedtime when we read stories, he'll sit perfectly below
O be still with me cuddled up with his teddy and read as many books as he can get away with!

He's ahead for his age in every milestone so I'm not worried from that respect. It may be that because we've been stuck in this last week with him being poorly that I'm noticing it a lot more and he's just got energy to burn but he is always fidgety, his nursery teachers have never raised concerns as such and just say he's got ants in his pants or would like to see improved concentration etc nothing major.....but he is only 3......

So I suppose I want to know if this sounds pretty normal for some 3 yo and if it calms down as they get older? I don't know any other children to compare except his one cousin who is now 5 and a totally different personality so doesn't help....

My almost 3YO is the same; it’s exhausting just watching her 😅

@ForeverTired89 aha so glad to hear there are plenty of other kids the same out there 😅 maybe because I'm so exhausted at the min with my 8 week old too I just can't fathom how any human has so much energy lol
