surely this should be in small business ads (ie paid for)? I notice messages've been (inappropriately) on other threads too. Good luck with yr business but don't take advantage of people like this.

Hello Mischief

Thank you!

I am not actually displaying my company on here, I am asking people if they are interested and if so they could contact me.

I am not up and running yet, just trying to see if there are any mumsnetters in my area. Would be not be worth my while spending money if not.

When I am up and running and in a position to advertise then yes I will pay £25 and display a link to my website with downloadable information.

I was actually waiting to see if anyone was bored enough to take time to tell me off. Grin

... not that I have done anything wrong.

well whatever it is?! good luck with it! ive been taking my dd to one since she was tiny with my friend and her ds and they have rhythem, stop playing instruments and start when the music stops and starts and dance and sing too all the songs(both 19 months), they are much more advanced than other kids in a different playgroup as they've been going so long and love it!
it was also in paper recently, that children that were taught music and dance when young where more intellegent!Smile

Yes, wishing you all the best--my DS loves his music and if it wasn't for people willing to run classes for babies & pre-school children we wouldn't have known how to encourage his interest.

Thank you for your encouragement. I decided to do this a year ago and little did I know the amount of work that needs to go into setting it up but I am very excited. The joy the games and songs bring to their little faces is priceless - so satisfying to see them participate and enjoy games I have created.

RudolphCAM - I thought it would be ok as I am not displaying any company details. I have emailed Mumsnet to tell them about my thread.

Hello!

Are there any mumsnetters that live in my area?

I emailed Mumsnet and they said it was ok for me to have this thread so before I do go ahead with placing an advertisement in the small business section I just want to see if there are enough people in my area to make it worth my while.

Thank you Smile

Good luck mummylove. My ds and I have been attending "Music with Mummy" classes for 18 months now and he loves it. Lots of music and bashing percussion instruments. Great fun.
