Tummy time difficulty with 2-3 month old

Hi

My 2 month old who is turning 3 months soon is absolutely hating tummy time.

He can't go more than 1 minute without crying/ screaming.

Please can anyone give me some tips. I tried distracting him with toys all sorts of things black and white contrast cards, it doesn't help.

I'm worried this will set him back 🙄

No idea sorry as both of mine hated tummy time too.

Mine hated tummy time til about 4 months and even now will only tolerate it for a few minutes. Don't worry though, tummy time wasnt a thing back in the day and everyone turned out fine 😊

Very normal for them to dislike tummy time at 2/3 months. Both mine were the same.

Youngest is now 5.5 months and will tolerate it a bit more.

Both of mine hated tummy time too. I did buy one of those toys that you put them on, on their tummy and you can rotate it around. It did prolong tummy time by a few mins but still didnt really enjoy it!
