Teaching toddler about differences

My 2 year old yesterday shouted “that lady has chocolate all over her face Mammy” about a stranger with a facial birthmark. She obvs wasn’t being cheeky, she just didn’t understand why nobody was harassing this person with a wet wipe… In the moment I just brushed it off and moved on because I didn’t want to have a discussion wwithin earshot of this woman who was just trying to enjoy her lunch in peace. But now I’m planning some chats at home with my wee girl. I’m going to discuss how people look different sometimes and it’s not a big deal. I also have my own big birthmark to show her so we do have some learning material on hand to inspect 😂 And I want to chat about how it’s rude to point and shout about people in general. But obviously she is only 2 and how much any of it will stick right now is anyone’s guess. (If anything I am worried that I could make it worse by drawing her attention to it…. No idea. Advice welcome!)

Any recommendations for kids books or cartoons to help with this? Any main characters with physical differences to expand her frame of reference?
