Normal 3 year old behaviour?

My 3 year old (and 2 months) has recently started needing my partner and myself to repeat ourselves constantly. She will ask us a question, we answer, she will respond "huh?". We repeat, she will said "huh" again. This can continue up to 5 times before she will seem to hear/understand what we are saying. Is this something I should be looking into or just a normal 3 year old behaviour?

It is occurring everyday now. Sometimes it seems like she ignores us when we talk also. Just not answering us at all..any experienced the same?

my boy does this all the time still, he’s 5. Drives me bonkers. But basically, he wants to make sure that he understands exactly what we mean. Like every single word. Maybe your DD is the same?

@Respberrypachouli so glad it's not just me! It drives me mad. I'm constantly repeating myself. I'm going to get her hearing checked anyway just to be sure
