We've just had our 1 year review on our 11 month old. The HV didn't have any concerns regarding development but I've been looking at videos of our first born and he seemed to be more forward at this age.

Now I'm worrying and feeling guilty that I haven't made enough effort with our second boy and that he's behind.

He can clap, say Dada, he cruises around the room holding on to furniture and loves to stand. He can find a hidden item but can't put items into a box. He also isn't throwing or rolling a ball.

He has good eye contact and turns his head to his name.

Is this all relevant to an 11 month old or should he be doing more advanced things?

I was more pushy with our first and I've tended to just let our second just be 🙁

Sounds fine to me @nowaworriedmumma. You are now dividing your time between 2 so they are bound to have a little less attention but from what you've said DC2 seems to be advancing nicely and is content.

@PritiPatelsMaker I wish I hadn't looked at those old videos. They've made me feel crap and now I just feel guilty about, well not sure what! Maybe just having a moment! 🤦🏻‍♀️😢

It's completely understandable but they do all progress at their own rate. As long as meet their milestones, you'll have nothing to worry about.

They're all different, even siblings can differ wildly Flowers
