Hi all would really appreciate some advice. My dd is now 19 weeks old. She has almost daily screaming/crying fits, goig red tensing up arms and legs shaking. While all this going on she is mostly passing wind down below. Not regular pooing either, went 5 days this week then passes really hard stool. HV has been pretty useless, just keeps saying Colic and it will pass, have an appt with GP next week. Formula fed since 8 days old. Was on colief but now off it. Is a beautifull happy smiley contented baby rest of time its heartbreaking to see her go thru this

not much advise i'm afraid but my friends boy was colicky untill 6 mths old

try boiled water left until warm and feed it helps with constipation putting brown suger in helps although its a big no no by every one only thing that helped my ds

have you tried giving gripe water in middle of feed or can be done after which i found best then walked round winding him seemed to help then left sitting up

my ds was also very windy i found winding him after evrey ounce really helped and also leave sitting up for at least 10 mins after each feed and just continue winding

it does get better

make sure you give plenty of cooled boiled water in between feeds as this helped with my ds constipation formula can do this to babies so i was told and it did help with my ds
