Can someone tell me are Jolly Phonics the same as Synthetic Phonics??

Just looking for some books for my DD in reception class she's 5 - I know she is doing Jolly phonics and I have seen a set of story books labellled as Synthetic phonics from the notes it appears to be the same???
Just wondered if there is a difference?

I don't know about the differences but you can get Jolly Phonics ones in ELC

Is Jolly Phonics a reading scheme, but synthetic phonics is a teaching method?

Synthetic phonics is a teaching method. Jolly Phonics as a commercial scheme used by a lot of schools that uses synthetic phonics.
