3 week old crying blue murder when awake,

My lo is 3 weeks old and the last couple of days she seems to be screaming any time she's awake - mainly in the evening as she's asleep earlier in the day more. She sleeps a lot but wakes for feeds every two hours usually but when upset a bottle is all that calms her! She's formula fed and been fine with it so far.

She has plenty of wet and dirty nappies, eats around 2-3 oz every 2-3 hours, sleeps fine and putting on weight fine too so I'm not sure what else it is! Wind/colic?! Is it just normal? I have a 3yo and I remember him crying every evening but I can't really remember if it was the same as this? I suppose it will pass but wondering if I should speak to my HV or if they'd think I was crazy for asking why a baby is crying 😅

She has a little bit of nappy rash that I'm treating by washing with water and cotton wool then drying thoroughly and keeping out in the air when poss then applying cream but I don't think it's really anything to do with that.

Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated!

Does she finisher her bottles @Mamaannie88? If she's taking 3 floz are you offering 4? Just wondering if she could just be hungry?

I always make up 4oz and she doesn't finish them. Max she has is usually 3oz. She falls asleep usually so I've tried changing her after her feed to wake her up and offer more but she never wants it.

So it doesn't sound like it's that then.

Sorry posted a bit too soon there. I'd try adding Dentinox to the bottles and if that doesn't sort her out maybe think about swapping her formula to a comfort formula?
