Is it too much to expect my bl**dy children not to keep losing important bits of games etc.

'Cos I'm bloody fed up of it.

Today we only have 8 marbles for Piranha Panic.

Because they messed around with them on Sunday morning instead of actually playing the game. DH was downstairs and could have stopped them, but no.

Have cleaned the lounge & playroom thoroughly - no sign of them.

Am sick to death of nagging them to put things away (in the right boxes).

DS only had it for Christmas - am tempted to put the sodding thing in the bin.

I'm right there with you Jones.

I especially hate Christmas and birthdays when it's a constant battle to keep all the new games together. It really gets me down.

I have become ruthless and chuck out or pass on stuff that they no longer paly with due to missing parts.

We have Piranha Panic - my main problem with that is keeping the chokey marbles away from DS4

Mine have lost a bit each from 2 new games they got at Christmas.

I'm just feeling so cross about it.

It's quite a good game too - DS adores it.

However much I nag them about keeping things tidy it just seems to go in one ear and out the other.

And it's a waste of bloody money.

I so so so so know where you are coming from with this. Mine get some thing one day, and it is complete for all of an hour if we are lucky and thats it, various important pieces have dissapeared for good.
Like your dh, mine just doesn't realise that you have to keep an eye on things with lots of little pieces.
I have given up at the moment. All the toys are in a terrible mess, and I can't be bothered to sort them out in to the right boxes any more, as every thing gets tipped all over the floor the next day.
