HELP – Major upset tummy….

I?m probably over-reacting (1st time mum!) but this am my 8mo has been majorly sick twice?. She had her usual am milk feed & seemed fine, but then was lying on her back playing with her toys and her stomach just seemed to reverse on her, cue 1 choking baby and floods of half digested milk all over our bed (& I mean loads, not just your usual spit up, which I?m used to by now). She then repeated her performance all over her daddy?s work clothes. She still seems fairly chirpy ? smiley and crawling around, though a bit more clingy than usual. So am wondering what to do and would like others opinions. I?ve got 3 options:
a) call our doctors & take her there this morning
b) go to our mother & baby clinic this afternoon and speak to our HV
c) just watch & wait and see what happens

Am going to give her boiled cooled water and plain baby rice for breakfast to see if that settles her stomach, but would really like anyone elses thoughts. Can?t think of anything she?s eaten/drunk that would have started this (no new foods, all seemed perfectly ok when I gave them to her) and I?m definitely the paranoid mother type (my mum used to go into a flat spin when we were ill so I guess its inherited).

Any ideas?

don't take her to the mother and baby clinic - you don't want to pass this bug onto other children.

I would probably wait a couple of hours, and if she is still ill, phone the doctor.

Good point re M&B clinic - not thinking v straight this morning (far too early).

She is just continuing to be sick - really bad strenuous vomiting, just not much sick any more (obviously).

I'd phone the doctor then.
