Hi I'm a single mum to a 6 year old daughter who's behaviour is getting increasingly out of hand. She's very emotional and when I tell her no she goes absolutely mad screaming, hitting kicking and throwing things. She spends every weekend at her dad's where she has an older step sister who has some issues and her dad's gf has three kids under 10. I feel she is seeing this behaviours somewhere as it seems to have come out of nowhere. I'm desperate at this point and have no idea where to turn.

Sounds like my 6yo. She is lazy and obsessed with technology. All she has to do to get her tablet back is put her washing away but she won't do it! Just follows dad around asking for his phone. I don't get where this behavior has come from her 3 older siblings aren't like it. I wonder if they're picking it up from school? She used to be lovely and still can be sometimes, school say she's mostly good. How is she at school?
The pastrol lead thinks she's just copying/learnt the bad behaviours from her brother whose being investigated for potential ADHD. We've had parenting workers/family workers/social workers but I've not found much that works except bribery and ignoring!

Thank you for replying. Nice to know I'm not alone. She's perfect at school! My daughter is the same with technology. Yeah that's where I'm at ignoring and bribery I may speak to school support worker again see if I get anywhere
