How can I stop DD's early morning 'happy hour'?

My DD is almost 5 months old and has always been a good sleeper. However, for the last 10 days she has been waking up at 3 am to shout, laugh and generally make loads of noise.

She isn't hungry and just seems to want to have a good old chat. She is still in our room so it is really difficult to sleep through and what started as a cute early morning babble is turning into a daily hourly wake up call.

Any tips?

is it possible to move her into her own room? i know it feels like a big step but with ds i found that we kept each other awake.

i too would say move to own room as this is all about learning and growing so cannot be prevented

so if in own room and settles back off by herself then probably would be best

my ds was in own room and although i could hear him didnt disturb me from going back to sleep

just have night light on i used to love hearing it but just not that time of morning lol
