Constant nightmares/night terrors in 4 YO

DD is 4 next month. I'd say the last 2 to 3 months, EVERY night she cries out 'NOOO!' Or lets out a cry/quietish scream, this can be once a night or up to 4/5 times. She falls to sleep at around 7:10 & these shouting sessions usually happen at around 2am.

Due to house renovations she's been in her bed but in our room since the summer. So usually these wake us & we just talk to her until she's soothed, she rarely wakes up after crying out but can be a bit restless.

I didn't think they were night terrors as she doesn't wake up & night terrors typically happen 2/3 hours after they fall asleep, but then when you ask her if she had a bad dream, she says no, she doesn't remember anything, which is a typical night terror symptom so I'm confused.

She's fine in the day, happy & chatty.

Last night she was back in her own room (right next to ours) she woke at 12:30 (no shouting, she just wanted to find us) I came back to her bed with her to sleep with her & she fell asleep at about 2am. She then cried out/shouted 'No!' About 4 times inbetween 3 & 5am.

Should I be concerned this is every night? Is this considered normal? She says she's not worried about anything but I'm concerned at her lack of good quality sleep. She goes to PS 4 days a week which is tiring for them anyway.

Any advice or experience welcome x

Hi ,
I know u posted this a while ago but I’m literally sat at the top step as my child screams away as when I try to go near her she scream ‘no , go , no no ‘ I actually think I’m going to lose my mind or my neighbour will one day call the police . She had night terrors since she was 3 and now 5 ( 6 next month )
they range from 15-30 mins usually but usually when they’re late in to the night it feels like they’re going on forever . She’ll kick and hit and is literally terrified of me when it happens . She looks me dead in the eye and literally looks like a demon is going through her . I can tell when she’s coming out of it as her cry then changes and she wants me cuddles me and is confused as to why she’s sitting on the floor or why I’m sat on her room .
did u manage to get any help or come up with anything to help with the night terrors . I once went to the docs who said most kids grow out of them at the age of 8 I cannot wait that long this is bad . I feel as she’s got older screaming and hitting has got worst in her sleep ( and actually hurts ) .
hope u are okay xx
