W shape sitting

My DD has fairly poor balance, and is pretty nerve wracking to be around a lot of the time.

the health visitor has asked if she sits in a w shape and I think she does this a lot especially when cuddling on my lap but occasionally when she sits to play with toys. She mentioned that this limits core strength - and also can cause tightness in hips.

she also doesn’t feel like my son felt at this age - my son was pure muscle where as her stomach doesn’t feel as strong which is why I think her balance may not be as good. my nephew (similar age) is also pure muscle - but I don’t know if this is boys vs girls.

I know they all develop differently but are there any activities I can do to support her balance? we go to parks/softplay all the time but she’s never really that interested when it’s just me and her and it tends to be me dragging her round in the end because she whinges and I give in!!!

just looking for advice! Thanks!

Oh I don't know about exercises. Would he HV be willing to refer her for physio?
