Mine did. I rubbed guaze on his gums daily fro about 12 weeks and when his teeeth cut through we barely knew about it.

my ds was teething at 6 weeks

dentinox teething gel can be applied every 20 mins ok from birth

also found putting edge of flannel in freezer and rubbing on gums toughens the gums up

My nephew popped a tooth through at 10 weeks old!

Hi, my son got two bottom teeth at 12 weeks and from then on they all started growing through!

MissingMyHeels · 27/05/2008 21:51

She has been hell today so off out first thing to try everything you have mentioned. Never seen her so grumpy

JODIEhavingababy · 27/05/2008 22:06

My DS started all then signs of teething at 6 weeks and his first tooth came through at 10 weeks, followed swiftly by number 2! He's not stopped dribbling since and he's now 20 months! Just waiting for his fangs!

My little boy has had flushed cheeks, dribbling like mad, uncharacteristically grumpy and shoving my fingers in his mouth and biting down hard for the last week (he was 10 weeks yesterday). You're right MissingMyHeels, it is really hard to look in their mouth but since the front bottom teeth come through first I have found I can just sneak a peek when my DS is sleeping. I can heartily endorse Calpol but after reading all the advice I'm definitely going to give teething gel a try too. Thanks everyone

mad4mybaby · 11/02/2009 13:38

most shops sell the granules. also worth going to chemist yo buy baby ambesol. it is a liquid which i found fab as with bongela etc hardly any of it gets on the exact place as slids off or they like it off
