DD has recently started doing this ALOT.It seems like something she can't seem to be able to stop.She even gets frustrated with it herself.
We bought her a Chew bracelet which she likes using, especially to get to sleep, but doesn't seem to have stopped the habit that much.She is receiving some SEN support at school and awaiting a paediatric assessment for possible ADHD (although she has made alot of progress recently so still unsure) but could be related if she is ND I guess?
We have also had a phase of hair sucking and chewing on clothing, and she also does very fast clapping thing when excited...subtle things but do wonder if they are 'stimming'
