Baby eczema

Guys- please give me some positives if you've had a baby with eczema.

My little one has it on her chest and we can't figure out why. Health visitor is not convinced that it is a dairy allergy because there aren't other symptoms bar some reflux. However, she had been more unsettled this week (9 weeks old) and eczema doesn't seem to be clearing up.

She sleeps all night bar one feed and is normally very settled... until now

Well she's got reflux and eczema. How many more symptoms of Cow's Milk Protein Allergy does your HV need? 🤦‍♀️

I'd have a read of this from Allergy UK. It's quite useful as it explains the varying symptoms (they don't have to have them all) and also explains how to get the best out of your Doctor's appointment

I know- I thought the same! BUT, HV has said tht because there isn't any mucus in dirty nappy and no throwing up, plus she sleeps through the night then a dairy allergy is unlikely!

My head is baffled by the whole thing! The above is also what the dietitian said

@JS1809 I am in the same boat. My son has bad eczema but no other symptoms. How did you get this resolved?
