Three year old swearing at me

My 3.5 year old son has told me to f* off on three occasions now in the past 2 weeks. I'm horrified... I don't recall that I've ever said it infront of him because it's not something I'd say (bugger off is my go to!!! Not to him directly though)
But I really don't know how to nip this in the bud... he's just said it to me again and I've put him in his room. He's currently tantruming it out. I am so paranoid that he will start saying it to other people and at nursery. He starts school in September.
On top of that, I've getting quite concerned at his anger levels. He can be quite an angry child, generally he is the sweetest boy but when he has a temper my god he sees red. And gets very aggressive and lashes out, I'm struggling to handle him now as he is getting heavy and actually hurts me when he lashes out. I'm really struggling to know how to discipline him and guide him out of these ways...

If he's in Nursery, could he have nicked up the phrase there?

Both of mine have picked up random swear words over the years. I've always ignored it and if they keep saying it just a gentle "we don't say that" is usually enough.

If his tantrums are getting a bit out of control, are there any triggers like delayed speech or tiredness?
