Just that really. She's a lovely, happy, cheeky little thing usually. But for some reason, she has spent the last two weeks, sporadically upset. Crying for no reason and saying she feels poorly. No temp, no symptoms and no pain reported.
It's possible that she is just whacked. But this has happened at school a couple of times as well, to the point where we have had to come and fetch her. Lovely, supportive school who are equally as befuddled as us. It's a tiny school (8 in her class) and we are all pretty confident there are no issues there.
Her mum is very engaged (50/50 contact) and she isn't as worried as us but definitely acknowledges that something isn't right. But what is it?!

Anyone got any suggestions? Or even similar experiences to share for a bit of solidarity would be much appreciated.

I would start to try to unpick the saying she feels unwell - is there a pattern? Is it always before the same thing? What happened in her world two weeks ago - where was she and what did she do?

Does she seem or say she is tired? My DC was diagnosed with quite bad anaemia in reception/yr 1. It makes him physically tired but also less emotionally resilient as everything feels like a massive effort.

Is it happening when she's at her Mum's house as well?
