Hello Everyone,
please any advice on what I can do to get my nearly 2 year old to stay asleep through the night im absolutely clueless of what else to try, hardly ever slept through, doesnt have a comforter wanted us to stroke him to sleep, will wake up 2 3 times a night or even more when he wakes up he will winge or scream cry, throw his dummy so we have to go and get him this can happen when trying to get him to sleep too, we took him to see a pediatrician they said be persistent, this has been months of trying so many different methods im not frustrated with him but im frustrated with why he won't sleep through or what is making him so unsettled.
thank you.

Really sorry sleep has been such an issue for you. When we did some gentle sleep training the key was persistence for as long as it needed. We did pick up put down and never left them to cry longer than a minute. It took persistence so the first day took 3 hours, the next 2 hours, the next 1 etc. By end of few weeks started to sleep through. Is there anyway you could book a week off to tag team with partner if they are around so you can get enough rest to persevere? It's really hard but keep going you will get there. Wishing you luck.
