I think I am unduly worrying, but my 10 week old baby is massive compared to all the others I have seen and weighed 14lb 12 today at clinic!!! The hv came the other week and it appeared that she is also quite long so was not concerned. Just wondering if anyone else has had big babies. She was 7lb 15 at birth and is breast fed!!!

Don't worry ds1 was 16lbs at 10 weeks, and was only 6lb11oz at birth

My son was 10 lbs 2 oz at birth and always at the top end of the growth chart. He is nearly 3 and a very tall, lean boy now - still much taller than other children his age.

my ds was born 7lb 13oz and at just over 11 weeks he was 15lb 7oz.

Don't worry, my ds was 7lb 14oz at birth and 15lb 12oz by 12 weeks (also bf)! He looks enormous compared to other babies his age - he's now 16 weeks, haven't had him weighed in a while - but so gorgeous: all chubby thighs and joint-of-meat arms...
