Attention seeking behaviour

I’m worried about my 6yo DD attention seeking behaviour. Her behaviour has become more demanding and oppositional since we moved house about a year ago. As background me moved from a really nice ‘put together’ house to a ‘project’ and she often cries about missing our old house when she is upset about other things.

She does things like either walk really slowly, or dangerously run ahead when we are out, especially if we are with friends and I am talking to another mum. Either way, I will end up having to go back to her and walk with her or call for her to stop.

She has always been super independent but has reverted to needing me to help her get dressed for school.

She sings incessantly really loudly in a way which she knows aggravates her brother. I am sure she does this to get a rise out of him. She also ignores me regularly when I know she can hear me so I have to repeat myself. She purposefully takes a really long time getting changing in at the swimming pool / in the toilet and won’t let me help her.

She will exaggerate injuries or completely invent them. She often makes up stories about her hurting herself at school or tell fibs about her doing something/getting awards at school. To the point I don’t know whether to believe her or not.

All of these things are micro issues, and independently I would know how to handle them, but everything all together is getting on top of me and I don’t think I am dealing with it as best I could. I realise that she is craving my attention but I feel like she gets lots of attention from me. I pick the kids up and drop them off every day. At bed time we read stories and snuggle. She has me on her own at least 2 nights a week when her brother is at activities.

Im exhausted by her to the point where I sometimes ignore her calling out to me as it is so constant and I know it will be over nothing! Any advice welcome as i don’t want her to always need validation from
others and I need a break!

Is there this all since the house move or has some of it been seen before? What prompted the house move and has she changed school?
