Just seeking some ideas! So my child is in reception at school and had settled in very well since September. Suddenly school is not exciting anymore! Cries at every drop off and has lost interest in other things outside school! Has become very cringy! Wakes up in the night crying.....so from what I have gathered..... an incident happened in school my little one became upset/crying and apparently one of the teachers shouted! Like! Stop it!! So and so!! This really terrified my little one and has done up to now. I have tried explaining that maybe the teacher didn't really mean to shout..... but am not getting across.
I have decided to request a meeting with the headteacher to address this but am wondering How should I go about this without upsetting anyone ??
Btw! My little one is one of the quiet ones in school, no history of causing any trouble whatsoever.
I appreciate all your responses....

I think you have done the right thing organising a meeting at school, the teachers should help to put a plan in place to support your LO. Maybe there is a Nurture group within the school that they could attend/be allowed to take a toy into school with them for comfort/have a 'soft start' to the school day where they get to choose an activity or play with friends/have a daily check in with their teacher to discuss how they are feeling. I am a teacher and this is what I would suggest to a parent with the same worries as you. Hope your LO starts enjoying school again soon.
