Crawling 8 month old

i wouldn’t say I’m worried about my LO not crawling yet as I realise that there’s a wide range of normal but I just feel like she might never crawl.

She tried to go from sitting to all fours but collapses on her belly as soon as both legs are behind her. We try and encourage her by using objects to entice her but she just waves her limbs in the air and cries until we give it to her! I think she’s too stubborn to ever try 😂Anyone had a similar experience and found a way to encourage their LO?

Don't worry, it will click one day and she'll start trying it differently.
My son was like this for a while, can't remember if it was 8 or 9 months that he started crawling but up until then he would just stretch out his arms and legs like he would fly across the floor then get angry when it didn't work.
It was our cat walking around him that really started to make him wriggle a bit differently.

And as a side note, he's never liked being shown how to do things, has to work it out for himself even now at 3.5. But very clever despite this.

Also, some dc don't crawl. Some bum shuffle, which gets them where they want to be.

Don't worry, she'll do it when she's ready.
My DS is a few days off 10 months and he only started crawling at 9.5 months.
For ages he would do a push up with his arms but do absolutely nothing with his legs. I started to lift his bum up with my arm to show him that he could go on all fours and then by 8.5 months he was happy to put himself in this position and would rock back and forth. Over the next 4 weeks he started to experiment with reaching out an arm until he was able to move his whole body forward with his arms and legs.
He just wasn't interested in crawling before but now he's actually ready for it he's getting noticeably better every day. I remember watching him at 7 months wondering if he was ever going to crawl.
