and how old is your eldest

I'm vacillating between 7 (age of DS) and 3 (age of DD) at the moment .. I rather think 3 is winning though

I have a 6 nearly 7 year old ds and a three year old dd too Twiglett-my ds is presently lovely-so the easiest stage for him since he was a non-mobile baby.

I found ds at 4 the hardest yet. Dd is a walk in the park by comparison

Dd is 11, ds is 7. For behaviour, I found the age of 3 the hardest for both of them. Early babyhood was difficult with dd because of failure to thrive.
Other times have been difficult because they have reacted to outside stress (bereavement, disability), rather than because of the age itself, so wouldn't expect those problems to be replicated in another child of the same age who is not going through those particular experiences.
Definitely the terrible threes for me. Though ds was relatively laidback compared to dd.
Ds is quite demanding now, at 7, but he has recently had a diagnosis which may affect the whole of his life, so it's hard to know how he would be otherwise.

2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. I have to stop there

My eldest is almost 10 and DS2 is8. They are awful at the minute, Ds1's behaviour is more temper related, and of course lack of sleep. Ds2 -well I'm not sure what his problem is

Baby, between 3 and 18 months. Everything else is a walk in the park in comparison.

Strong-willed non-sleeping children.

First 6 weeks due to no sleep.

14-18. Eldest nearly 21.

Mercy · 06/02/2008 11:08

First few weeks with dd (first child)

1.5 to 2.5 with dd

3+ with ds (almost 4 and I'm struggling a bit tbh)
