Potty training

I have a toddler 2 and a half with speech delay potty training is so hard at the moment, she knows when she has been and will tell me but will also have a tantrum when prompted or put on the potty and her tantrums mean she kicks and screams I need help HV keeps saying wait and see or stop and start again

Honestly? I'd wait and start again in the Spring. My DD had speech delay and didn't really get potty training until she was turned 3. Plus it's much easier to potty train when the weather is warm and they're wearing less clothes and you can be in the garden.

There was one Mntter that suggested I punish if she gets off the toilet wtf
