3 year old typical behaviour or red flags?

Hi,

DD has just turned 3. I had worries earlier on as DS 6, is ASD. I hadn’t worried at all recently, as she was doing incredibly well, until the last couple of weeks and I’m starting to worry again. I will add she has been poorly on and off for around a month with chest infections, sickness bugs and recently yet another virus.

DD has started in the last few days rocking side to side. It’s not obsessive just whilst she’s watching and also I’ve seen her walking on her tip toes a few times, she seems to have had a growth spurt recently. I will add the dummy fairy came on Sunday (she was a total dummy addict and wonder if she’s in withdrawal) if she’s rocking to soothe to replace the dummy?

Her speech is ok, lots of words and is able to tell us her wants and basic conversation. However at times it’s not clear. I worry that she’s not hugely conversational, but not sure what’s expected around conversation at just turned 3. She goes to nursery and loves it, skips in most of the time and has friends there, however is still quite shy and very quiet around strangers or family she doesn’t see often. Sometimes she hides behind me. Nursery she is doing well.
She has brilliant pretend play and is always wanting to be a doctor, play shops or be a princess.

I don’t know if DS being ASD is making me concerned for if these are red flags?
Xx
