My son had a dummy as a baby then found his thumb, he is one (just) and I want him to stop his thumb sucking before it ruins his teeth, is it possible to get him back on the dummy, then wean him off that?obviously because of his age i cant explan why he cant suck his thumb, he is still a baby after all

That is what we did. But I think she was older. She still sucks her thumb in the day but has dummy at night. I gave her some to play with and soon she wanted them all the time so we kept them for bedtime. hth
