Hi, so my son is nearly 1 and is getting his top teeth through, one cut last week and I think there's more coming.

He had 3 days of fever that finished a couple of days ago, no other symptoms. He is a bit grouchy but the main issue is the drool!! He is soaking bibs every 20mins or less and at night he is waking up in a pool of drool. I've just changed his bedsheets, sleep sack and babygrow as it was all soaked. He has an awful rash on his face that I can't avoid as his face is always wet. I'm putting cream on 853 times a day.

Is this normal to have this much drool? It's been going on for 2 days now, he always drools a bit but this soaking the bedsheets thing is a nightmare! How long will this last and should I be worried that it's such an excessive amount?

My daughter drooled sooooo much from birth to about 18 months. I remember googling it at 16 months as I wasn't sure if it was normal. She is just over two now and I have officially thrown all the bibs away 🥳🥳🥳
From what I researched, it is completely normal!!
