Hi all just looking for reassurance really, my DD who's just turned 3 rubs herself on the floor quite a lot, mainly when she's tired, I've spoken with HV about it and she advised to distract her and that it's normal etc... We do distract her but then after a few seconds she just goes back to it, she's even started if we are led on the sofa she tries to do it on our legs 
She has language and communication delay so trying to explain to her that she's not allowed is quite difficult., she just ignores us and carries on.
My concern is is that shes starting nursery school soon so I'm worried she will do it there..
Anyone else been through this? So embarrassed about it but I'm at my wits end trying to stop it all ways..
