playing with her imaginary friends, the Numberjacks. So far she has held a tea party for them, had a sleepover at 3's house, and driven them about in a car constructed from her books. She hasn't asked for my participation once (hence the MNetting!)and has turned down suggestions to go to the swings etc because she is so totally absorbed in her game. There are toys all over the floor but I'm not allowed to move any of them because it seems they all have a strategic role in the proceedings

Is this slightly bizarre, or should I just be grateful that she can amuse herself for so long? (On other days it seems she can't do anything without my help/ input.) She also regularly pretends that all the Lazy Town characters are in bed with her at night....

Oh the womderful numberjacks, DS loves them too, he tells me little stories about them.

It's not bizarre at all, it's actually good that she has an imagination.

How old is your DS VictorianSqualor? DD identifies so strongly with the girly pink Numberjack 3 (her age), I think it's going to hit her hard when she turns into the rather more boyish 4!

oh DD (3.2) LOVES the Numberjacks
she's talking about them all the time

I think it's good she can amuse herself - hope DD will work that out soon!

(they give me the utter creeps, but nevermind)

My DD (3 in April) was making 'Numberjacks' tea on Friday - where did that come from?
