HELP! Sleep regression and teething at 11 months!

So my lovely wee lad is now struggling to go down at night and waking every hour crying. We are shattered. He's definitely teething, poor thing but he sleeps in bits throughout the day/night (has never been a day sleeper). He settles and then wakes himself up. He's also less into solid food (than he was, still eats a fair bit!).

Does anyone have any tips on how to help him and us get through this?

Thanks so much in advance.

Rachel.

When they're teething, it's best not to expect too much "good behaviour" off them or anything like their norm. I know that's so frustrating I'm in the same boat at the moment with my 7m old. We were just experiencing sleeping through the nights after filling him up with solids - and BAM - teething hit 1.5 weeks ago and he's up at 4/5 am crying and only settling with boob which I really didn't want to resume doing!

teething powder just before bed has given us a long stretch from bedtime to 4am though!

Thank you. Yes, the powder seems to work well but he still won't properly go down until midnight and then fidgets until around 6.30am. Do you use the power in the morning also?

No, we've only needed to use it just before bed.
I swear they're completely different babies in the morning lol.

it depends on the stage if teething as well. I.E in the beginning of the week, we needed to medicate and he was awake around midnight and a few times at that!

once the teeth cut through, he's only waking at 4/5am.

just a thing we can only try to treat symptoms of and pray they go back to normal habits!!
last night was the first night I didn't have to boob AND co sleep him to sleep after the waking. Praying it's just going to slowly get better 🙏
