11 week old - sudden 'star' movement with arms and legs.......???

My 11 week old daughter keeps suddenly throwing her arms and legs out in a star shape when on changing table or in bath. Sometimes it scares her as its like a nervous reaction which she cannot control.

Anyone know what this is and what causes it???

Am sure my DD1 did this, and then grew out of it.

Isn't it their reaction to when they think they're falling? There's a proper name for it... I'll see if I can find it!

sounds like the baby monkey thing - a baby monkey falling out of a tree throws out its arms and legs to catch on to something! Mine all did it - very normal I think
