3 year old "tic"

The last three days I've noticed my son (3) has been blinking a lot. He's had an ear infection and temperature, looking quickly online it looks like it could be fever related but has anyone else had this? It's like a tic it's really odd.

Yes he's stopped for the most part, still does it if he's very tired but not anywhere near as much as he did. I took him to have an eye test which was all good so we just didn't pay attention to it

How long did it last please xxx

Maybe a month? 6 weeks? Like I said sometimes he still does it now if he's very tired. I found ignoring it once I knew his eyes were fine worked well
